The Sea Ray might be the big bad Comeback Kid for Nokia, but we’re hearing more and more about other devices like the sharp-sounding Sabre and now this, the Nokia Sun.
Appearing on an Orange France upcoming release list, the ‘Nokia Sun’ looks pegged for an early November release.
The Nokia Sun is said to come with a 3.7-inch screen, 1.4GHz processor and 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of memory. According to Mon Windows Phone, who first posted the screengrab, the Nokia Sun will also feature an iPhone 4-style micro SIM slot and has a polycarbonate unibody shell.
The unibody design matches our expectations for the Sea Ray, thought to be a Windows Phone-running version of the Nokia N9 with a few slight design changes.
So its possible that the Nokia Sun might be a smaller counterpart to the Sea Ray (if the Sea Ray comes with the same 3.9-inch screen of the N9), another name for the rumoured Sabre, or vice versa.
Nokia World 2011 kicks off next Wednesday 26th of October; we’re going and we’re hoping for some light to be shed on the Sun, the Sabre the Sea Ray and whatever else Nokia has up its sleeves. Nokia Scimitar? Nokia Sausagefest?
