Nokia X6 and X3 hands-on

Today Nokia announced two new music phones, the X6 and X3, that will only be available as part of its Comes With Music service. Comes With Music offers unlimited music downloads for a one-off price that is usually included in the handset. The idea is you buy a phone and that’s it — you can download as much music as you like without having to worry about it. Watch our video for more info and click on the next page for close up photos.

The Nokia X6 boasts a capacitive screen, the same type of screen that is used on the iPhone. Our initial impression is that it works well but we need more time with it to make our minds up.

It’s not as large as the N900 but it still feels quite big and solid.

On the back of the X6 there’s a 5-megapixel camera. Other features include HSDPA (3.5G), Wi-Fi and GPS. It will cost around 450 euros.

The X6 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack so that you can plug your headphones straight in.

The X3 is a less expensive Comes With Music phone that will cost around 115 euros. Unlike the X6 it doesn’t have a touchscreen and features a standard keypad.

The X3 is smaller than the X6 but still feels solid.

On the back of the X3 there’s a 3.2-megapixel camera. Other features include a microSD slot that can take up to a 16GB card and an FM radio. The X3 and X6 will be available at the end of the year.
