O2 will become the first UK network to stock a OnePlus phone, the mighty OnePlus 3, from later this week.
We absolutely love OnePlus’ range of mobiles, which offer incredible value for money. However, getting your mitts on one here in Blighty has been nothing short of a pain in the arse, until now at least.
With the first two phones, you needed an invitation to become a OnePlus owner – and even then, you had to join a queue before receiving your handset. Thankfully this invitation system was eventually ditched, but even then you could only buy the phones direct from OnePlus.
Finally, this availability issue seems to be a thing of the past. UK network O2 will be the first to offer this year’s OnePlus 3 in its high street stores, available on a range of tariffs.
The OnePlus 3 is one of the best Android phones of 2016, boasting a gorgeous 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, incredible performance and strong battery life. You also get extremely fast charging and a gorgeous metallic design, all for just £329 SIM-free.
You’ll be able to snatch it up from O2 from Thursday September 29, online and in-store, with contracts starting at £28 per month.
You can pick up the OnePlus 3 on O2’s Refresh tariff, which allows you to change phone after just a year simply by paying off the remaining value of your chosen handset. The cheapest £28 Refresh contract gives you 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data per month, or you can boost that to unlimited minutes and 3GB for £35.50 per month.
If you haven’t had a chance to play with the OnePlus 3 just yet, check out O2’s Westfield White City store after the launch date. From 10am til 10pm, a OnePlus pop-up will give demos and hands-on time with the phone.
