It’s update-tastic in the mobile phone world at the moment. The latest to hit the rumour mill is the O2 Samsung Galaxy S update to Android 2.2, which is slated for November 15th (Monday). An anonymously submitted screengrab with no model numbers may not be the most reliable of sources, however.
The same screengrab that brought this happy news (above) details the Sony Ericsson X10 range’s Android 2.1 (Eclair) update. That means all O2 users with an X0, X10 Mini or X10 Mini Pro handset will be getting the new software starting next week.
