OK! Magazine launches its official iPad app

Looking for your celebrity fix on iPad? OK! Magazine’s official tablet app has just gone live. It costs £2.39, for which you get 30 days of access before having to sign up for a one, three or six-month subscription.

So what do you get for your money? Swipable digital versions of the main OK! print magazine, and 15 news feeds covering topics like celebrity, fashion, beauty and travel.

Individual pages and issues can be saved for offline reading, and there are videos, a search facility and social networking features too. It sounds like a good balance between the weekly mag content and breaking news.

Now, if only we cared whether Jordan and Peter Andre will get back together, or how Cheryl Cole copes bravely with the struggle of being rich and famous…
