Orange Film To Go launches today

Orange customers will be able to get their hands-on a free iTunes movie download from today, as part of the phone manufacturers Film To Go offering.

Debuting today and continuing every Thursday a free iTunes movie rental worth up to £4.49 will be available to all Orange customers.

Orange mobile phone and mobile broadband customers simply text FILMTOGO to 85060 to receive a code, which then needs to be entered online to be redeemed against the movies rental on iTunes. Orange Home Broadband users first need to register by texting: JOIN along with their unique user name to 85060. All texts cost 35p.

Customers need to have iTunes pre-installed to download the movie, but once downloaded the film can be watched directly on a computer or laptop; alternatively it can be transferred onto an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Apple TV users will be able to watch on a big screen using Apple’s wireless streaming service AirPlay.

Don’t worry if you don’t have time to watch the movie this evening; you have 30 days from the point of download, although once the movie starts playing you need to finish watching it within 48 hours, although you can watch it as many times as you like during that time.

Orange Film To Go debuts with My Blueberry Nights starring Jude Law and Norah Jones, but other titles coming up over the next few weeks include: The Wrestler, Che:Part One and The Ghost.
