HP has confirmed to Pocket-Lint that the not-very-long awaited Palm Pre 2 is heading to the UK and could be with us as early as this Friday, November 12th.
With the updated webOS 2.0, the handset will be on sale SIM-free, although there’s no word on pricing just yet.
We’ve looked on semi-jealously as our neighbours en France got to enjoy the Palm Pre 2 before the rest of the world, taking advantage of the 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, glass screen and upgraded webOS.
After the epic six-month wait for the original Pre, vague anticipation abounds as our time for the Pre 2 has come so soon. We’ll be at least half-interested when the Palm Pre 2 hits the shelves on Friday.
[Update: Looks like you won’t be able to pick the Palm Pre 2 up until November 15th – that’s Monday – when it’ll set you back £399 SIM-free. No word on network tie-ins yet.]
