ROK Mobile offers unlimited music streaming with its SIM-only deal

UK network ROK Mobile is offering a £20 SIM-only deal that includes unlimited music streaming through the ROK Mobile app. Here’s all you need to know.

What is ROK Mobile?

ROK Mobile is a UK provider that offers SIM-only monthly plans, with the added incentive of unlimited music streaming via its own ROK Mobile Music app. ROK runs on the Three network, and you get 4G data included as standard with each plan.

ROK Mobile’s best deal

The best ROK Mobile deal is the £20 Ultimate plan, which gives you 250 minutes, 500 texts and 3GB of data to use each month, as well as the unlimited music streaming. If that’s too restrictive, you can upgrade to the Ultimate Plus plan for £25 a month. That gives you unlimited calls and texts and 4GB of data.

ROK Mobile Music app

The ROK Mobile Music app can be downloaded from the Google Play store for Android devices, or Apple’s App Store for iPhone and iPad. Once you log in with your account details, you’ll be free to browse the 20 million songs on offer.

ROK Mobile Music is actually the 7Digital music service, with a fresh lick of paint. Streaming and the rest is handled by 7Digital, so if you’ve already checked out that service, you’ll know what to expect.

Like other premium music apps such as Spotify and Napster, the ROK Mobile Music app provides ad-free streaming as well as the ability to download up to 2000 tracks of your choosing to your mobile device. You get a decent selection of music, with a catalogue that spans every genre and era. Of course, if you’re after some more obscure stuff, you’ll be better off with the likes of Napster (which boasts twice the number of tracks).
