Samsung Apps giving away free games and apps for Valentine’s Day

Say it with flowers, chocolates or some free Samsung Apps; Samsung is feeling the love and has decided to make all of the paid apps available in its store free to download from now until Valentine’s Day.

That’s next Tuesday, the 14th of February for those of you who’ve forgotten to book a table and give Interflora a ring.

There’s free apps available for a wide number of Samsung Galaxy Android phones like the Galaxy S2, tablets like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Bada-based phones like the Samsung Wave 3.

The number of available apps varies depending on the phone but there’s some gems like Doomsday Attack, a vertically scrolling old-school shoot ‘em up on the Galaxy S2.

The idea is that if you download all of the apps that are available for free, you’ll be in with a chance of winning an app voucher for future use. There’s plenty of premium EA games available via Samsung Apps, such as the Sims 3 and Monopoly, which would normally cost £3 a go. You’ll need to have a Samsung account set up in order to use Samsung Apps. Head over here for more info on the draw.
