Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 both coming to Orange

After O2 told us that it’d be selling the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 in April, Orange got in contact to say that it’d be selling the Ace 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 as well.

As was the case with O2, this is just a quick heads up that Orange will be selling the phones – no word on exact launch dates or contract info for these guys just yet; that’s “still to be confirmed at the moment.”

While Orange couldn’t give us even a vague ETA for the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 or the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, Samsung has already announced that it expects both phones to be on UK shelves in April.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.8-inch touchscreen and an 800MHz dual-core CPU. It’ll be interesting to see how the Galaxy Ace 2 compares against the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, which has a slightly faster 1GHz dual-core CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 has a 3-megapixel camera, a 3.27-inch touchscreen and a single-core 800MHz processor. Like the Samsung Galaxy Ace from last year, there looks to be a range of different coloured battery covers in the works for the Galaxy Mini 2.

The official press shots show it sporting a lurid yellow jacket but we’ve seen an orange/peachy colour in a leaked render as well. No doubt Orange would be keen to snap up the Galaxy Mini 2 in this particular hue. As always, we’ll keep you posted with the updates.
