The next instalment to the Galaxy range, the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is due to hit UK stores towards the end of May. The successor to the hugely popular Samsung Galaxy Ace includes an upgraded dual-core 800MHz processor backed up with 768MB RAM.
The Samung Galaxy Ace 2 has a 3.8-inch screen with a respectable 800×480 resolution and packs a 5-megapixel camera that can also shoot 720p HD videos, along with a front-facing camera for Google Talk calls. To store all photos and videos, there’s a respectable 4GB on-board memory, expandable via microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has been confirmed for the majority of UK networks and is also available now in the independent retailers. We’ll keep this page updated with pricing and availability information as it comes in.
O2
O2 has confirmed that it will sell the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, but there’s no news on pricing just yet. The O2 website says the device is “Coming soon: May,” so we are expecting news any day now.

Orange has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is coming to Orange, but there is news on the exact date or pricing, it’s just ‘Coming soon.’ Customers can register to be emailed when the phone is in stock.

T-Mobile has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is “coming soon.” There’s no news on pricing or the exact date, but you can sign up online for updates.

Three
Three has confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is availably now from its online store, and will be in its shops from 25th May. It is available free on the £22 per month Essential Internet 500 plan, offering 250MB of internet, 500 minutes and 5,000 texts each month.
You can also pick up the handset on Pay As You Go for £229.99 and pair it with one of Three’s contract-free SIMs. All in One costs £15 and provides 30-day access to all-you-can-eat data, 300 any-network minutes and 3,000 texts. All in One 25 costs £25 and offers all-you-can-eat data, 500 minutes and 3,000 texts.
