Samsung Galaxy Mini and Galaxy Ace to land on O2 in March 2011

The phones don’t stop coming, and O2 have recently confirmed on their website that you can expect to get two of the latest additions to its Galaxy family, the Ace and Mini, sometime in March.

Though they may not have the most impressive specs, if you’re looking for a moderately priced Android smartphone, these could do the trick.

The Galaxy Ace is very much the splitting image of its older brother, Samsung’s Galaxy S, and with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, LED flash and five-megapixel camera, it does what you expect of a smartphone, powered with an 800MHz processor.

The Galaxy mini is, unsurprisingly, smaller than the Ace with a three-inch touchscreen, and a 600MHz processor. Although there’s no flash, the phone’s three-megapixel camera should do the job in a pinch, and GPS for Google Maps, in addition to the rest of Google’s smartphone portfolio.

Both the Galaxy Ace and mini will be running Android 2.2, and being a Sammy phone, they should come with Swype text input, for speedy, swishy texting and emailing.
