Samsung Galaxy Note 7 UK price and release date: Here’s how to pre-order and buy the Galaxy Note 7 if you’re a Brit, including the best carrier deals and how much this mighty 5.7-inch phone will cost you.

Samsung unveiled its new star phablet the Galaxy Note 7 just the other week and we’ve already judged it as one of the best phones of 2016 so far, thanks to its incredible features set.

Now we know that the Galaxy Note 7 will be available to buy in the UK from September 2 and you can already get a pre-order in, to receive the phone a few days early. Here’s news on which UK networks and retailers are stocking the Note 7 and the best deals you’ll find.

Carphone Warehouse

The first to confirm that it’d be stocking the Note 7 in the UK, CPW is also the first mobile retailer to reveal official pricing for the phone, with the SIM-free 64GB model selling for £699. The Note 7 is also available on a host of tariffs from major UK carriers such as Vodafone’s £59.00 24-month plan which costs £42 a month and includes 6GB of data.

CPW will also honour its Price Promise to anyone who thinks they’ve found a better Note 7 deal from either O2, Vodafone or EE on a pay monthly or SIM-only plan. It’ll match the competing deal and pay the first month’s line rental for free.

Those who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 through Carphone Warehouse can expect it to arrive three days early and come bundled with the latest Gear VR virtual reality headset (worth £99.99).

EE

The Galaxy Note 7 is already set up to work on EE’s super-fast 4G network and will support the carrier’s WiFi calling service too. Potential Note 7 buyers also have the opportunity to land themselves six months of free BT Sport coverage when they pick up Samsung’s latest phablet on EE.

MobileFun

If you like to keep your phones protected it’ll pay to pre-order with MobileFun. The online retailer is offering up the phone for £749 unlocked and SIM-free. Place your pre-order before August 19 and you’ll not only nab yourself a Note 7 once it’s available, but it’ll throw in a compatible Olixar case for free too.

O2

There are a number of solid deals on the table courtesy of O2, who are offering the Note 7 both on contract and on Pay As You Go plans. The carrier’s main pre-order deal rewards you with a free Samsung Gear VR headset (worth £99) if you place your order before September 1st and tariffs start at £45 a month (on a 24-month plan) with an upfront cost of £119 for the handset. For your money, you also get unlimited calls and texts, plus 1GB of 4G mobile data.

The priciest plan costs £67 a month with a £9.99 upfront costs and along with unlimited calls and texts includes 30GB of data and the option to upgrade early after 12 months. You can also pay for the Note 7 upfront on any of O2’s Pay Monthly contracts for £777.99.

PAYG offerings start at just £10 top-up (which includes 500MB of 4G data, 250 minutes and 1000 texts), but you’ll also need to fork out that £777.99 for the handset.

Three

Three joined the pre-order party on Thursday, August 18th and is now offering up the Note 7 paired with a few fancy extras. The phablet is available on the carrier’s Essential and Advanced plans (the latter enjoying extra perks like hotspot data allowances and Feel At Home).

All of Three’s plans run on a 24-month contract and include unlimited texts and (bar two tariffs) unlimited minutes too. What’s more, right now customers will also receive a £50 Amazon gift card, access to three free months of Deezer music streaming and a Gear VR headset (whilst stocks last) if they place a pre-order.

The most affordable Essential plan costs £35 a month and includes 1GB of 4G data with an upfront handset cost of £149.99, whilst the top whack Advanced tariff costs £56 a month, includes unlimited 4G data, 30GB of hotspot usage and an upfront handset cost of £99. Vodafone

On Tuesday, August 16th, Vodafone rolled out its pre-order offerings, with a free Gear VR on the cards for interested parties and like Carphone Warehouse, three-day-early delivery for those looking to place an order before Sunday, August 28th.
 
The Note 7 can be had on a Vodafone Red 12GB bundle for £57 a month (plus a £20 upfront cost), which includes unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 12GB of data, as well as 2GB of inclusive roaming.  

Alternatively, pre-ordering the phone on a Vodafone Red Value 20GB bundle for £63 a month (plus a £20 upfront cost), will nab you unlimited texts and minutes, 20GB of data and 4GB of inclusive roaming, plus a choice of free access to Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass.
