Want to get your hands on the Android tablet the Samsung Galaxy Note? Well it’s is hitting UK shops tomorrow, with a launch event at a Carphone Warehouse store in central London.
An announcement has appeared on Samsung UK’s Facebook page stating that the Samsung Galaxy Note Launch will be taking place at the Carphone Warehouse store, Oxford Street on November 3rd. Attendees will also get the chance to win £10,000 worth of Samsung kit.
We first saw the Galaxy Note at the IFA technology show in Berlin, we were instantly impressed.
There’s a huge 5.3-inch 1280×800 HD Super AMOLED screen and 1.4Ghz processor, it also comes with an S Pen Stylus (which we now know uses technology developed by Wacom) for making annotations and drawing.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update coming in 2012.
Last week Samsung confirmed the launch date along with news O2, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U will be stocking the phone/tablet combo.
