Samsung Galaxy Note pink to launch in June

In a move that would put a smile on Pink Panther’s face, Samsung has decided that the super-sized Galaxy Note could do with a lick of paint and is set to launch a pink version of the device. The brightly coloured smartphone is coming soon to  Carephone Warehouse website and we’ve not been able to find it elsewhere, so looks like this may be an exclusive.

As spotted by CNET if you head on over to the Carphone Website now you can pre-register for the pink delight, which is due to be available in June. Looking at the specs of the device it looks just like a paint-job on the original Galaxy Note, so no additional features we’re afraid.

It is not Sammy’s first dive into the pink hemisphere as they also graced us with a pink Samsung Galaxy S2 and perhaps the company may even do the same with the soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy S3.

The Samsung Galaxy Note’s Super AMOLED HD screen measures in at a rather large 5.3-inches, making the device sit somewhere between smartphone and tablet. Matching the devices “Note” name, the device comes with a stylus S Pen for jotting your scribes with. The device also boasts an impressive 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP one on the front.
