Pitched as a slightly cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy S2, the Android touting Samsung Galaxy S Plus is now available for pre-order from Vodafone
If you’ve been holding out for a Galaxy S2, but put off by the price, then you may want to consider the latest Galaxy offering to reach these shores. The Galaxy S Plus is designed to sit between the Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Galaxy S Plus is equipped with a single (instead of a dual-core) 1.4Ghz Scorpion processor, while the 4-inch screen uses Super AMOLED technology.
The handset looks more similar to the original Galaxy S rather than the Galaxy S2; with the large square control button, along with back and menu buttons

There’s 8Gb internal storage for photos and videos and a 5-megapixel camera, connectivity includes GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi.
According to Vodafone the Samsung Galaxy S Plus will be available now. It will be free on £25 a month plans over 24 months.
