Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) by March

Samsung have been very communicative in assuring us that the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note would indeed be getting the update to Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. They’ve even alluded that we should expect it in early 2012, however now they’ve confirmed that it will definitely be Q1, so we can expect it to land by the end of March at the very latest.

The announcement was made on the Samsung Norway Facebook page suggesting updates will be Europe-wide. As for the rest of the world, it’s yet to be made clear. The developer community however will be able to take advantage of this release as soon as it arrives irrespective of where in the world they are, and you can be sure as soon as we get a fully function Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 ROM on our device, we’ll give you a hands-on video.
