As a result of a certain Apple product making itself known to the market, one of the leading rival handsets, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has undergone a slight drop in price across many of the UK carriers. As such, users will be able to snap up the quad-core Android powerhouse at a more accessible price point than ever before.

O2
Prices here are for the typical 16GB Galaxy S3. The 4G capable LTE Galaxy S3 has not yet arrived in the UK. What’s more O2 do also offer tariffs at a reduced cost for refurbished Samsung Galaxy S3s.
£18.50 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 200 minutes, unlimited texts in addition to 100MB of data and the opportunity to upgrade their handset one month earlier than the end of their contract. Handset – £249.99.
‘On and on’ – £36 a month (24 months) – Users are offered unlimited calls and texts in addition to 1GB of data and the opportunity to upgrade their handset one month earlier than the end of their contract. Handset – £19.99.
£42 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 900 minutes, unlimited texts, 1GB of data and the opportunity to upgrade their handset three months earlier than the end of their contract. This plan has been reduced from £46 a month. Handset – £49.99.
Orange
Orange has just announced that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is available to pre-order now in Orange stores. The phone will be free on 24-month for £36 a month on the Panther Extra 36, with a £49.99 deposit, which you get back. Pay £99.99 a month and the phone costs £31 a month on Panther Extra 31, with 750 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data. Orange does not have stock of the Pebble Blue version.
Three
Prices here are for a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 in either Marble White or Pebble Blue.
‘Essential Internet 100’ – £24 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 100 minutes and 5000 texts in addition to 250MB of data. Handset – £149.
‘Ultimate Internet 100’ – £28 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 100 minutes and 5000 texts in addition to unlimited data. Handset – £149.
‘Ultimate Internet 1000’ – £40 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 1000 minutes and 5000 texts in addition to unlimited data. Handset – free.
T-Mobile
Prices here are for a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 in either Marble White or Pebble Blue.
£15.50 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 50 minutes and 250 texts in addition to 750MB of data. Handset – £300.
£36 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 2000 minutes in addition to unlimited texts, data and T-Mobile to T-Mobile calls. Handset – £29.
£46 a month (18 months) – Users are offered 1200 minutes and unlimited texts in addition to 750MB of data. Handset – £19.
Virgin Mobile
Virgin Media has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available on June 25th. There’s no news on pricing, but existing Virgin Media customers will get a reduction of £5 on their monthly tariff, with unlimited calls to Virgin Mobile numbers and from their Virgin Home Phone to Virgin Mobiles during the inclusive free period. As an added bonus customers get three free months subscription to Spotify Premium.

Vodafone
Prices here are for a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 in either Marble White or Pebble Blue.
£29 a month (24 months) – Users are offered 300 minutes and unlimited texts in addition to 250MB of data. Handset – £109.
‘Red Data’ – £42 a month (24 months) – Users are offered unlimited calls and texts in addition to 2GB of data. Handset – free.
£51 a month (12 months) – Users are offered 1200 minutes and unlimited texts in addition to 1GB of data. Handset – £99.
Carphone Warehouse
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is available on all the major networks. The handset is free on Orange contracts starting a £36 a month, with 1GB data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts. Go with Vodafone and the phone is free on £31 a month contracts with 500MB data, unlimited texts and 300 minutes. On O2 the phone is free on a £41 a month contract with 2GB data, unlimited texts and calls, this price includes a £5 bolt on. If you want to get the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Three it will cost you £41 a month, including 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited data. On Talk Mobile the phone is free, for a monthly charge of £28 for 100MB data, 100 texts and 100 minutes.
The first 1,000 customers to place an order online for a Pay Monthly contract will receive a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 10-inch tablet, InvisibleSHIELD screen protector and in-car micro USB charger – a combined value of £428.98. If you’re not one of the first 1000 customers, you’ll get package worth around £60 with a Sandisk 32GB micro SD memory card, Invisishield Screen Protector and in-car micro USB charger.

Phones 4U is offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 free on Orange and Vodafone for £31 a month with 3000 texts , 600 minutes and 500MB data. The Pebble Blue phone is on pre-order.
