If you’re sat on the fence over Samsung’s brilliant Galaxy S6 smartphone, which is a great all-round experience but also rather abusive to your wallet, now is the time to buy.
We absolutely bloody love the Galaxy S6, which marked Samsung’s true return to form and its best handset since the Galaxy S II (although last year’s Note 4 was also a five-star work of genius). The only troublesome aspect is that steep asking price, which makes it one of the most expensive flagship phones around.
But following on from disappointing sales, and in preparation for the launch of the massive Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus on August 13th, Samsung has trimmed the asking price of the Galaxy S6 on its online store.
You can now grab the 32GB Samsung Galaxy S6 for £499, reduced from the original price of £559. All four colours (black, white, gold and blue) are available at the discounted price. Not a massive discount, but at least the S6 is now the same price as most other flagships. Sadly the 64GB and 128GB models aren’t reduced just yet, which is a particular shame as the Galaxy S6 doesn’t have expandable storage.
Check back next Thursday for full details and our hands-on review of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
