Samsung Tocco Lite 2 unboxing video

While we here at Recombu skew towards unboxing flaghip phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 and lesser developed smartphone siblings such as Samsung Galaxy S Advance, but what about feature phones like the Samsung Tocco Lite 2? Feature phones are hugely popular. Not everyone wants an Android in their pocket, especially with feature phones getting considerably smarter than they once were. So for all you prospective Tocco Lite 2 users, this one’s for you.

So what’s so smart about the Samsung Tocco Lite 2? For starters, it rocks a 3-inch capacitive QVGA display. Not the sharpest out there, but the touch-tech is sensitive enough for comfortable swiping. The Tocco Lite 2 also offers a well rounded set of connections. Wired ports include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. There’s also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on board as well as Samsung’s ChatOn messaging service to take advantage of it, however, no 3G, so expect tapered data speeds while out and about.

Design wise, the Tocco Lite 2 is simple and Samsung. Non-descript, black and grey, it’s small and fits well in the pocket. Large fingered lads and ladies might find working your way around the feature phone UI a bit cumbersome, though anyone coming from the original Tocco Lite won’t have a problem. There’s also 20mb of memory on board and a microSD card to bump up your storage by an additional 32GB. This makes the Tocco Lite 2 a choice MP3 player thanks to the 3.5mm headphone jack and on board music player. There’s also a 3.2-megapixel camera round the back for simple snaps on the go.

We’ll be reviewing the Tocco Lite soon, so enjoy the unboxing and stay tuned for the final verdict.
