‘Sexting’ and ‘Feature Phone’ hit the Oxford Dictionary

So Oxford has finally realized the importance of sexting and feature phones and gone and added them to their Dictionary.

Sexting:
Noun
[mass noun] informal
the sending of sexually explicit photographs or messages via mobile phone:like it or not , sexting is part of growing up in 2010

Origin:
early 21st century: blend of  sex and texting.

Feature Phone
Noun
a mobile phone that incorporates features such as the ability to access the Internet and store and play music but lacks the advanced functionality of a smartphone.

They also made the decision to include fnarr fnarr which is “used to represent sniggering, typically at a sexual innuendo”

MSNBC is also reporting that ‘buttload’ and ‘nom nom’ have been added.

Current tech terms now in the dictionary include things like bloggable, trackpad, scareware and even woot.
What would Sam Johnson have thought eh? (he invented the dictionary)
