Good news, Sony handset owners: your phones will soon receive upgrades to Android 4.3 and Android 4.4. The company took to its blog to announce the updates, with the Xperia SP, Z, Z1, ZL, ZR, Z Ultra, and Tablet Z all due to receive Android 4.3 next month. In addition, the Xperia T, TX, and V will all jump straight to 4.3 over 4.2.
KitKat is on Sony’s brain too. The company says that the Xperia Z, Z1, ZL, Z Ultra, and Tablet Z are all set to receive the Android 4.4 update. There’s no firm timeline yet for that particular update, however.
