Sony Ericsson Nozomi gets its close up

The Sony Ericsson Nozomi has been leaking left right and centre. With the white unit popping up over at Xperia Blog a few weeks ago, we now get a chance to get up close and personal with the black version courtesy of GSM Arena, pegged to be titled the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD.

Confirmed to ship with Gingerbread and sporting a 4.3″ LCD with a resolution of 1280×720, the Xperia Arc HD looks set to be Sony Ericsson’s latest flagship. The 12-megapixel camera on the back looks to be capable of capturing HD video and there is a suggested 1.5GHz dual-core processor on the inside.

As with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, there will be an HDMI port, this time on the right under a flap, and something we all like to see  on any self-respecting camera phone – a physical camera button, complementing the 12-megapixel snapper.

With no microSD card, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD will apparently come in 16GB and 32GB versions, with what looks like a microSIM and a fixed battery. We expect to see more and get some hands on time with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD / Nozomi at CES this coming January.

Right side: Volume rocker, microHDMI out and camera button.
