Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V: Almost the same, but different

Alongside a raft of Android updates, Sony Ericsson have revealed another addition to the Xperia range, and it looks pretty familiar.

Whilst most of the PR buzz and attention was focused on its bigger brothers, the Xperia arc and Xperia play, the Xperia neo sneaked into shops and onto phone networks with a cheaper price-tag but similar technical specs.

Now the Xperia neo V looks to be an even cheaper offering, carrying a five-megapixel camera, dropping down from the eight-megapixel snapper on the original Xperia neo, but will still support high-definition video recording.

It’s still have a 3.7-inch screen with Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine, HDMI support, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

The new Xperia neo V will also arrive with the latest Android update, and Facebook inside Xperia features, making that social network a very integral part of your phone. Expect it to see it arrive sometime in Q4 2011.
