2010 is currently looking a lot like a mobile phone remake of The Italian Job – lots of Minis racing about the place.
T-Mobile is now getting in on the Mini act with the Pulse Mini, a cut-down sequel to last year’s T-Mobile Pulse. Like its predecessor, the Pulse Mini is a budget Android device available for peanuts on pay-as-you-go.
Manufactured by Huawei, the company who makes all those mobile broadband dongles, the T-Mobile Pulse Mini rocks a 2.8-inch touch screen, 3.2-megapixel camera with LED Flash and runs on the latest Android 2.1 software.
While you can use Wi-Fi, the T-Mobile Pulse Mini also allows for browsing via HSDPA (3.5G) like it’s bigger brother. Despite its small size, the handset’s memory can be bulked up to 16GB with a microSD card and there’s also a 3.5mm jack allowing for mobile music malarkey with your Mini.
The T-Mobile Pulse Mini which will be going for £99.99 on pay-as-you-go. There are no plans to offer the T-Mobile Pulse Mini on contract at the moment and a concrete UK release date has not yet been given.
