Apple exec Phil Schiller has confirmed that the white iPhone will arrive in shops (and some people’s loving arms) this spring.
The vice-president of worldwide market at Apple, Schiller dived into the murky world of Twitter, and answered a fellow twit’s question of when he could expect to get his hands on a white iPhone 4.
He replied, saying that, “The white iPhone will be available this spring (and it is a beauty!)”

The white iPhone has been plagued with issues, and has now been repainted with a special advanced paint that should avoid previous issues the phone had with flash photography.
Apple originally announced that the white iPhone 4 was expected to be in shops by July 2010, but this then got pushed back, around and sideways, and Apple released an official statement saying that: “White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we had originally expected.”
If you haven’t seen the white iPhone in the wild just yet then see our own hands-on gallery and impressions of it. We had the same opinion as Mr. Schiller; it’s a bit of a beauty.
