Three launches Huawei E5331 Value MiFi: budget MiFi

UPDATED: Three has had huge success with it’s MiFi range, bringing portable wifi hotspots using HSDPA+ networks to the masses. The next instalment of the devices is a budget version called the Huawei E5331 Value MiFi, which uses the same high speed network but at a lower cost.

The Huawei E5331 Value MiFi  will allow customers to connect up to five devices, including a tablet, smartphone, portable gaming device and laptop. The network speed offers up to 21.1Mbps download (HSPA+) and up to 5.76Mbps uplink speed (HSUPA).

The pocket-sized MiFi sports an LED display with details including battery life (which is up to 4.5-hours) and connectivity, and offers one button connectivity.

Three has now confirmed the Huawei E5331 is available now. It will cost £29.99 on a rolling one-month contract at £15.99 a month, with a 5GB data allowance and £49.99 on PAYG, with a 1GB data allowance.
