Yesterday, at a World Cup themed quiz sponsored by Three, quizees were required to write and perform a 3-based football chant. Here’s how our half-hearted, slightly satirical chant went*:
Vodafone! Got the iPhone
O2! Got the iPhone
Orange! Got the iPhone
T-Mobile! Got the iPhone
Three! …awkward silence
Underwhelming, we know. But in an amazing display of efficiency, Three took our comments on board and this morning announced that it will join the iPhone 4 launch picnic on June 24th.
With O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and now Three all gearing up to the launch, who’ll be the first to crack and reveal pricing? Three are keeping schtum for now – but you can register your interest here and pre-order the handset from Tuesday June 15th. Hopefully it’ll include a Spotify tie-in like many of Three’s other deals – we can make up a song about that too, if it’ll help.
But yes, at last Three will offer an iPhone and we made it happen. Don’t say we never do anything for you.
