3 loves freebies: Free calls to 3 numbers, free calls to everyone via Skype, free Fabergé eggs and now free Twitter – OK we made up the Fabergé eggs bit. From now though everyone on 3 will be able to tweet their beaks off for free until the end of March.
If you don’t have a data plan on your 3 contract, you can still get it for free by accessing Twitter through the mobile site (m.twitter.com) or via the integrated Twitter apps which come installed on 3 phones, such as the INQ Mini 3G, INQ Chat 3G and the Sony Ericsson T715.
If you’ve got internet access included in your 3 plan, then access to Twitter will be not be discounted from your monthly allowance.
Last month 3 announced that it had extended it’s 3G coverage by activating its 10,000th 3G site. This means that as well as being able to Tweet for free for the next two months, you’ll have a better chance of being able to tell your followers about the amazing fish finger sandwich you had for lunch, or how you met Jedward last night.
