Virgin Media announces unlimited internet from £15 a month

Customers on Virgin Media pay monthly and SIM-only plans can now benefit from cheaper plans, including unlimited internet access from £20 a month (on 24 month Pay Monthly plans) and £15 a month (on the £15web SIM-only plan).

The HTC Desire, for example, will be available on 24 month contracts from £30 a month – 800 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data.

BlackBerry customers on Virgin Media can also get unlimited web access and BlackBerry mail on pay monthly tariffs starting at £15 on 24 month contracts and £20 on 18 month contracts.

If you’ve got  a Virgin Media pay-as-you-go phone and you’re signed up to Virgin Media broadband (cable or National/ADSL), you can now call any UK landline or mobile number for just 8p per minute and send texts for the same. You also get a free 50 minutes worth of calls to other Virgin Media mobile numbers each month. Once these are up, you can then call at the reduced rate of 8p per minute.

Virgin Media broadband subscribers with a Virgin Media phone service can also call Virgin Media mobile numbers for free within their allotted usage period. So for example if you have Virgin Media’s evening and weekend calls plan, then you can call Virgin Mobile numbers for free at weekday evening and weekends, or at any time of the week if you have the unlimited anytime plan.
