Vodafone: No plans to sell the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Mini 2 or LG’s L-Style range

Vodafone has told us that it currently has no plans to sell either the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 or any phones from LG’s L-Style range, which is comprised of the LG Optimus L3, the LG Optimus L5 and the LG Optimus L7.

In our chat with our contacts we were told that these plans could change and aren’t set in stone. But for now, there’s no plans to take any of them.

After the rush of yesterday’s announcements from Samsung and LG, we’ve heard that the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 are coming to Orange and Three, with O2 also selling the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (but not the Mini 2).

We did hear however that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) announced last week will be coming to Vodafone as an “enterprise-focused device,” i.e. it’ll be coming to Vodafone business contracts.

It’s worth bearing in mind that items like the BlackBerry Bold 9790, which first came to Voda business plans eventually migrated to consumer contracts. So there’s every change this could happen again. No word on prices for the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) right now though.

So in short, a no go on the Ace 2 and Mini 2 nor any of LG’s slinky silvery L-Style phones. But a maybe to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).
