Watch the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge MWC launch live and in 360 VR

If you want to find out what Samsung’s next big smartphones are going to look like, you can tune into a live broadcast and watch in 360 using a VR headset too. Here’s how.

We’re less than an hour away from the big reveal of #TheNextGalaxy. Samsung’s kept fairly quiet in any official capacity about what this evening’s Unpacked event will hold at MWC in Barcelona, but the rumour mill, twinned with a constant stream of leaks has given us a pretty clear picture of what to expect.

The South Korean smartphone-maker will be broadcasting the launch event live at 6pm GMT/7pm CET, with users able to tune in from their PC or mobile device. To spice things up even further, Sammy’s also adding 360-degree streaming into the mix, letting viewers experience the unveiling in a wholly new way.

You can watch the stream from your PC using the video above, by heading here or watch on your iOS or Android device by downloading the Unpacked 360 View app from your app store of choice. Once the stream is up you’ll have a choice of four angles around the auditorium to jump between and you’ll even have the option to watch proceedings in VR with a 360-degree view.

The app is free to download and Gear VR users will need to download it through the Oculus Store as opposed to Google Play. Check back soon for all the lowdown on the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S7 Plus and any other surprises Samsung might have tucked away.
