Waterproof 10.1-inch Android tablet from Fujitsu leaked

A waterproof tablet from Fujitsu has broken out, with leaked images and literature from Japanese phone network NTT Docomo now doing the rounds.

The first Android tablet we’ve seen from Fujitsu, the Arrows Tab F-01D arrives with Gingerbread baked in, alongside a 10.1-inch WXGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor and the virtue of being -to some extent- waterproof.

According to Data Cider, the tough-talking tablet will go on sale next month in Japan, on phone network NTT Docomo.

Other details revealed in the leak include two cameras, 16GB of storage, expandable by microSD, and a microUSB port for charging and file transfer. Hopefully they’ll both have some sort of cover or cap to keep the wetness out.

It’ll measure a wafer-thin 11.5mm, more than the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and iPad 2, but certainly not the tubbiest. Nothing yet on prices, or whether we’ll the tablet surface on our shores, but we’ll update you when we hear more.
