White Samsung Galaxy Note coming to John Lewis in the UK on Monday

The white version of the Samsung Galaxy Note will be touching down in the UK next Monday. Upmarket high street chain John Lewis has bagged exclusivity on the launch of the white Galaxy Note.

Those keen to snap one up will need to get in line at the Oxford Street store in London on the 23rd. The first hundred customers through the door will be able to pick up £250 worth of free music, films and ebooks with their Notes.

This is a temporary exclusive period that’s looks set to last throughout January; Samsung told us that “additional channels will be launching during February 2012,” for the white Note.

No price for the white wonder has been announced; SIM-free prices for the regular black Note at the moment hover around the £430-£470 mark.

Samsung’s supermassive Galaxy Note raised a few eyebrows when we first saw it – we didn’t expect the world to so enthusiastically lap up a 5.3-inch touchscreen phone/tablet but we were wrong. The Galaxy Note has gone on to be an international hit, shipping over a million units.

Simon Stanford, Managing Director, UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division said: “At Samsung we always want to offer our customers choice and are delighted to bring the Galaxy Note in white to the UK. The Galaxy Note is an innovative addition to the Samsung Galaxy family and a new category of device that consumers can’t get anywhere else.”
