According to a recent post on the Mobilizy site, it looks like it’s going to launch its augmented reality browser, Wikitude, for devices running Symbian 3rd Edition very soon. Today Mobilizy posted a very short preview video (above) of the augmented reality browser running on a variety of Nokia phones.
At the moment Wikitude only works on certain Android handsets, the iPhone 3GS and the Nokia N97 and N97 Mini so this is very significant as it will open up the app to millions of users. Supported phones will include the Nokia E72, N86, 6788, E52, 5730 XpressMusic, 6710 Navigator, E55 and 6720 classic.
Mobilizy say that it will provide a download link soon and that more info will provided via its Twitter feed.
