Has Microsoft finally delivered an OS we love? No, but we weren’t expecting miracles. Today Microsoft officially unveiled Windows Mobile 6.5 and we managed to grab a video if it in action on the Samsung Omnia 2. It’s an improvement over Windows Mobile 6.1 offering a more finger-friendly interface, My Phone syncing which backs up your content to the Web, and it boasts Windows Marketplace which is similar to the iPhone’s app store. But Windows Mobile 6.5 still feels like an iterative update of an ageing operating system and we think it’s time for something completely new.
