Surprise! Apple’s Retina iPad mini is now on sale. The company updated its store a few hours ago to soft launch the tablet, and there’s still stock available to order.
The 16GB model starts at £319 – a bump up from the original iPad mini’s £269 starting price – and currently ships in one to three business days. Retail stores, however, won’t be stocking the tablet at first. Supplies of the Retina iPad mini are said to be heavily constrained at launch, so Apple may be restricting the Christmas gift to its online store for now. Still, the tablet hasn’t sold out just yet.
