ZTE is no stranger to sub-£100 smartphones, and the £60 Blade Q Mini looks to be one of its best-value handsets yet. With dual-core power, a 4-inch IPS screen and expandable storage, this entry-level mobile offers some strong specs for the price, and can be bagged exclusively on Virgin Media from today.
The ZTE Blade Q Mini will be one of the cheapest dual-core smartphones around, packing a 1.3GHz MTK processor. We’re hoping that’ll mean smooth running for Android Jelly Bean 4.2, along with your apps. You get 4GB of storage to fill with apps and media, and the microSD slot can give you up to 36GB overall – a great feature considering the Blade Q Mini’s cost.
Also packed inside the compact frame is a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and a surprising set of features, including panorama and continuous shot mode. Round it off with a four-inch screen and we’re pretty impressed by the Blade Q Mini’s specs. We already gave the thumbs up to the ZTE Blade V, a quad-core sub-£100 mobile that enjoys good performance and battery life, so here’s hoping the Blade Q Mini lives up to its promise.
