Plane makes emergency landing because of woman singing Whitney Houston songs

Pilots on a commercial flight were forced to make an emergency landing recently because a passenger would not stop singing Whitney Houston songs. The woman belted out ‘I will always love you’, among other hits, on the Los Angeles to New York flight and had to be restrained.

The woman was handcuffed by an air marshall and other crew members and the plane was brought down safely at Kansas City International Airport, where passengers were spared further torture.

Passengers onboard the Los Angeles to New York flight managed to capture video footage of the woman (below), who can clearly be heard belting out the hit song, which was part of the soundtrack to the Bodyguard film.

“The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew,” commented airport spokesman Joe McBride.

“There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

The woman later said the reason she acted so strangely was because of her diabetes. She was eventually released without charge.
