Zender tweaks the Alfa Romeo 4C, giving it extra power, a more aggressive look.
If ever there was a car that could benefit from the loving touch of a tuner’s spanner, it’s the Alfa 4C. And that’s exactly what the modifying buffs at Zender have done with the 4C by Zender.
Most of their attentions have been directed at the car’s styling. Tweaks include a carbon fibre bodykit, which includes a more aggressive front bumper with aerodynamic flaps, a new carbon rear diffuser, carbon side skirts with air intakes for engine transmission and transmission oil cooling, a carbon roof and more.
It’s certainly a more aggressive design, although whether it needed those tweaks is debatable. If there’s one thing the standard 4C is revered for it’s its looks. That said, Zender hasn’t completely jumped the shark with its design efforts, and we certainly wouldn’t say no to owning one.
There are some tweaks under the surface of the 4C by Zender. The tuning firm has boosted the car’s power slightly from 237bhp to 272bhp, increasing the power to weight ratio from “about 3.73kg/hp to 3.23kg/hp.” The company claims a 0-62mph sprint time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 165mph, down from the standard car’s 4.5 seconds and 160mph.
