Bulletproof car boss lets employee fire AK47 at him whilst sat in armoured vehicle

The boss of Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC) really believes in his products – so much so he’s willing to put his life on the line to prove they really work.

Trent Kimball, whose company makes armoured cars, has bravely volunteered to sit in the driving seat of a custom-built, bulletproof Mercedes GL while another member of staff fires an AK47 assault rifle at the windscreen – in some cases directly towards Kimball’s head.

As you’ll see from the video, Trent emerges totally unscathed, with the windscreen soaking up the twelve bullets with ease. They appear to be real live rounds, too, rather than blanks – based on our admittedly limited knowledge of the sort of damage AK47 bullets can do.

At the end of the video Trent steps out, clearly high on adrenalin and can be heard to say: “That was friggin’ amazing. It could have taken a lot more!”

Rather you than us, Trent, but congratulations on making an apparently awesome product and having the balls to put your mouth where your money is.

Check out the video below to see it all unfold for yourself.
