Is Chris Evans the right man for the Top Gear job? Twitter reacts.
Chris Evans, carrot-topped British DJ, has been announced as the new host for the next series of Top Gear. It’s a logical choice; the man’s a well-known petrolhead with an assortment of Ferraris to his name (mostly coloured white) and he’s an excellent presenter with decades of experience presenting an assortment of high profile shows.
But how does the rest of the Internet feel about his appointment? Some, like us, think it’s a good choice, but there are others who aren’t so chuffed. Here, we’ve rounded up some of the best reactions from the world of Twitter, Showing how the world feels about Evans taking the helm of the biggest motoring show on the planet.

Even if @RichardDawkins suddenly announced there was a God, it still wouldn’t compare to this 180 by Chris Evans. pic.twitter.com/WqrqaL762f
