Just what is the Aston Martin Vulcan?

A video has been released of the Aston Martin Vulcan ahead of the mystery car’s unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show on the 3rd of March, 2015.

The video tells us an interesting amount about the Vulcan: Nothing. Not one thing. Zilch. All you see is some black and white lines, hear a rather impressive engine (that sounds racecar-esque to us) and then see the aforementioned unveiling date.

Knowing the Aston Martin DB10 will only be made for the forthcoming James Bond film Spectre, there is a slim chance the Vulcan could be the DB11, which we have heard rumblings of in recent times. It is, however, more likely to be a GT car judging by the pace of the gear changes.

It could also be a hypercar. Autocar believes the Vulcan will battle with the McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari LaFerrari FXX K for track supremacy, with fewer than 30 cars destined to be built. A V12 engine with the One-77 concept’s 750bhp and lots of carbon fibre is expected.

Like with Ferrari and McLaren, the owner will be getting more than just the car if Autocar is correct. Bespoke track days and driver training is likely to compliment what could be the ‘most extreme’ non-race Aston Martin ever.

Watch the video below and be absolutely none the wiser about what the Aston Martin Vulcan will look like.
