Mini Seven wants to be like the 1959 Austin Seven

Mini has announced a special edition version of the latest Mini that celebrates the car’s humble roots, which date back to the 1959 Austin Seven.

The Mini Seven, which references the first ever Mini, is based on the latest generation Mini Hatch and comes in a three-door and five-door flavour, priced from £18,545 for the former.

To make the Mini Seven a bit special, it comes in a unique Lapisluxury Blue colour and features a Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps. If the blue isn’t you, Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green are also available.

It features Mini Seven door finishers and side scuttles with the Mini Seven logo and 17-inch alloy wheels in a unique Mini Seven two-tone design. Bonnet stripes in Melting Silver and Malt Brown can be specced.

Step inside the Mini Seven and you will see a unique part leather, part fabric sports seats finished in Diamond Malt Brown, a Mini Seven logo on the central instrument panel, Mini Visual Boost 6.5-inch colour display, Mini Excitement Pack, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and the storage compartment pack.

Those who wish for a bit more luxury can spec the Mini Seven Chilli pack, which includes Lounge Leather upholstery in Carbon Black, Mini Yours Steering Wheel in Walk Nappa leather with multifunction controls, LED headlights and cruise control with brake function.

There’s also driver and front passenger seat heating, Harmon Kardon speakers for a better sound, windscreen heating, panorama glass roof and Mini’s XL and Navigation System for getting from A to B.
