Rory Reid reviews the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II in a way you might not expect: using the power of poetry. We kid you not.

Car reviews rarely step outside of the mould and that’s because ultimately it’s a buying decision. Should I buy this car? What’s so special about it? Why is it better than the competition? It’s more about being factual than fancy.

But expressing how you feel can be done in many ways, and so Recombu Cars editor-in-chief Rory Reid decided to review one of the grandest cars in existence using poetry. You know, that thing you studied in English at school?

Because when you’re talking about a hand-built car that costs more than £200,000 and is lovingly crafted from some of mother nature’s most expensive and desirable materials, plain-old words don’t quite seem enough.

We could tell you the Ghost Series II goes from 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds and that it has suicide doors, stars built into the roof and even its own umbrella because precipitation is for poor people.

We could also tell you it’s as good as it looks. But we’ll let Rory do the talking (or is that rhyming?) instead.
