The Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo range just got bigger

Skoda has expended its special edition Yeti Monte Carlo range by adding two new variants, both of which are available to buy now.

The Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo – introduced in the summer of 2015 as a tribute to the 1937 Popular Sport Monte Carlo rally car ─ now comes with a choice of a 1.2-litre TSI 110PS petrol and a 2.0-litre TDI 110PS diesel, joining the existing 2.0-litre TDI 150 PS diesel.

All three models are front-wheel drive and come with 17-inch Origami alloy wheels in black, Bi-Xenon headlights with cornering function, black roof, black spoilers at the front and rear and black door mirrors.

The Monte Carlo Yeti sports utility vehicle also gets Monte Carlo badging to let people know your Yeti is a bit special in addition to a black front grille, LED rear lights and, in the case of the 110PS 1.2 TSI petrol, the option of a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

Inside, Monte Carlo Yetis also get a ‘Supersport’ leather multifunction steering wheel, sports seats with Monte Carlo upholstery and Monte Carlo-flavoured floor mats, instrument cluster and door sill trims for a touch of sportiness.

Skoda reintroduced the Monte Carlo badge back in 2011 when it launched the Fabia Monte Carlo. A Yeti Ice edition, which was covered in fur, was unveiled as an April Fools’ Day joke.

Prices start from £19,700 for the entry-level 1.2-litre TSI with 110PS, rising to £21,045 for the 2.0 TDI 110PS and £24,385 for the 2.0-litre TDI 150PS diesel.
