Apple new iPad 3 review (video)

The new iPad has just been released by Apple. It’s the third-generation of Apple’s tablet to arrive here, following the original iPad and Apple iPad 2.

At first glance, it looks very similar to the previous iPad – the iPad 2 – but there are some subtle changes under the hood. Apple has updated the processor and graphics performance, as well as vastly improving the tablets camera.

But the biggest change is to the screen, which Apple has also dramatically improved, boosting the resolution to improve clarity and detail, especially when you’re using the iMovie and iPhoto apps.

The new iPad 3 is available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB starting at £399 for the WiFi only version. For on the go connectivity a 3G Version is available – confusingly called the WiFi + 4G (for more on this check out our What is 4G? feature), which costs £499. Apple is keeping the iPad 2 as it’s entry-level tablet priced at £329.

So what’s the new iPad like? Is it still one of the best tablets available on the market? Is it worth investing in the new iPad if you’ve already got an iPad? Check out the video review below, or read the full Apple New iPad 3 review.
