It’s an exciting time for news apps. Recently Flipboard unveiled its social news app which impressed us a lot and now the BBC has released its news app for the iPad and iPhone.
Both apps will be available to download later today.
The iPad app looks great and gives you access to live news and video content in a very touch-friendly way. The iPhone app looks similar to the iPad one but, as you might expect, it’s more compact.
The BBC has said that it will release apps for Android and BlackBerry handsets later in the year.
