Mark Doherty, an Adobe Flash platform evangelist, has created a video calling app for Android called FlashTime using Adobe AIR. As you’ll see in the video below, Doherty built the app using AIR 2.5 for Android, which turns Flash-based content (ActionScript 3) into an Android app.
FlashTime isn’t out yet and we’re not sure if Doherty will release it through the Android Market but it does demo how versatile AIR is. There’s more information on Mark’s blog.
