Lucky Apple keen-os who managed to import an iPad from our cousins across the pond will be pleased to hear that Apple has finally flicked the switch on the App Store for non-US iPads. This means you’ll be able to access the App Store on iPads outside the US even though the international launch day is not until May 28th – eight days to go!
iPad owners were previously forced to either set up a US iTunes account (complete with US credit card details) or download apps through iTunes on a computer and then sync with the iPad, which was a bit of a pest for anyone who shelled out for an iPad in order to avoid bid farewell to the desktop.
